In Baton Rouge, the historic battleship USS KIDD is the setting for a one-of-a-kind experience on July 4th. Take a tour of the destroyer and enjoy face painting, inflatables, obstacle courses and concessions at the Fourth of July Spectacular. The downtown evening concludes with our biggest fireworks display in the state over the Mississippi River at 9 p.m. Revelers can also head south to L'Auberge Casino and Hotel Baton Rouge for a pool party and more fireworks over the Mississippi.
